Perspectives Journal
Perspectives (Formerly, the Journal of the Gerontological Nursing Association Ontario), the Journal of the Canadian Gerontological Nursing Association has as its mission, the promotion of optimum health for aging individuals and their families through the development of gerontological nursing. This involves promoting the quality of life of aged persons and their families, their abilities and rights, their capacity to live as independently as possible and to die with dignity.
A subscription to the Perspectives (four issues per year), which features recent research findings, news and information relevant to the field, is included in the CGNA membership fee.

Guidelines for Authors/Manuscript Submission
CGNA welcomes original manuscripts describing issues, research and clinical or educational innovations of interest to nurses and others caring for older people. Manuscripts from nurses, other health professionals or other interested parties will be accepted for review. The journal also invites brief submissions of approximately two typed, double-spaced pages, describing clinical practice tips, reviews of books or videotapes, creative works and letters of opinion to the Editor.
